Puffy: Cookie Puff
Isms and I are big fans of World Square, we always seem to be walking around there during our outings and we decided we will try Puffy’s cookie puff.
It was quite a line, people were actually rushing to be in front of us. I’m guessing it must have been quite yummy.
Isms started taking photos while lining up.

A whole box of uncooked cookies being lay out for rising.
I have to say the service was quite fast, we were already at the counter.
The girl who served us was pretty cold, took our money and we were then expected to move over to the other side to collect our puffs.
And Isms and I had a cookie puff each.
It looked crispy and smelt pretty good. Till….
Isms took a bite.
I took a bite after all those photos.
It was not crispy at all. How did that even seem to be like a cookie at all?
The filling was a tad sweet and milky. Not creamy at all.
Verdict: 5 out of 10 damns
It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. It was just… so-so. The service was cold, but fast.

Home Dot Café
Isms and I headed for Home Dot Café in Glebe. It was hard to miss it was this light blue structure sticking out of the neat row of buildings.
After much confusion on how to order and where the menu was, the lady (could be the owner) talked to us about what we could have and drink and where to sit. I give her a thumbs up! She was really nice. We decided to sit in the beautiful courtyard.
For some reason Isms and I felt like little girls again and started running down the small path way to the courtyard. We weren’t disappointed, it was just as and more beautiful than in the photos on the website.
It was such a beautiful day! Not a cloud in sight! And the courtyard was covered with so many trees! It was lovely!
We decided to sit on table 21. I think it was the best table among all the tables.

In the courtyard you can get sweet looking areas to sit at like these.

This how the back of the building looks. It blends so well with the surroundings.
Anyway this is a foodblog so let us talk about our meals.
This is what Isms had.

A Swiss chicken toasted wrap
There was so much cheese in it. Isms was in Love.
Wasn’t too sweet and was extremely healthy and crammed with berries! It had a lot of ice to keep it nice and cold when Isms and I took our time talking.
I was craving for some red meat. So I had a…. *drum roll*
A gorgeous looking Steak Sandwich
And when they say steak, it is really a nice piece of steak. It was juicy and matched extremely well with the bread. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. The sauce was to die for. I ordered mine without the Beetroot.

My match for that was the Perfect Pear. It was yum-yum smooth with yogurt, honey and pear.
By the way: the drinks were filled right to the top of the glass, it was just that isms and I couldn’t keep our hands off it.
The service was wonderful, though our drinks came after we had already finished our meal. So that’s 1 less damn. The atmosphere of the shop was cosy and spacious. I simply love the all the blue and design. You can even read books or surf the net there. Isn’t it great?
Verdict: 9 out of 10 damns
Though everything was nice and lovely… I would have liked my drink with my meal.
